Welcome to KDV Leeflandgoed Opwetten, part of Kids Society Erica. We provide daycare for up to 32 children aged 0 to 4 in a beautifully restored farmhouse at Opwettenseweg 132 in Nuenen. Our location is unique: children and elderly residents of Archipel Care Group share spaces, gardens and activities. The monumental farmhouse borders a nature reserve and is located opposite the Opwetten watermill, allowing children to play and explore in a green, peaceful environment every day. Our pedagogical staff have been known for their expertise and warm commitment since 1980. We offer two horizontal groups: the Bosmuisjes and the Waterratjes. In these groups, children have all the space they need to grow, play and learn. We work with fixed daily routines, alternating sleeping, eating and playing in a familiar way. The sleeping areas are quiet and homely, so every child can rest safely. What makes us special is the connection between generations. Children and elderly cook together, garden in the vegetable garden or walk around the grounds. The spontaneous encounters teach children to share, listen and treat others with respect. The elderly tell stories, help with crafts or simply enjoy the children's laughter. This way, our kids grow up in an environment full of life experience, warmth and security. We welcome children from primary school Het Mooiste Blauw and work closely with parents. Together we create a safe, stimulating place where your child feels at home.
