KDV Koningshaven

Welcome to KDV Koningshaven, located at Fatimastraat 24b in Tilburg. We are part of Montessori Kindcentrum Koningshaven and provide care for up to 16 children aged 0 to 4 years. Starting January 2026, we will offer two vertical groups where children of all ages learn and grow together. In these groups, the youngest children learn from the older ones as they explore the world side by side. Our approach is grounded in the principles of Maria Montessori. We follow the child and embrace the motto ‘Help me to do it myself’. The spaces are carefully prepared with materials suited to each child’s developmental stage. We provide calm, structure, and room for personal initiative. Thanks to the small scale of our centre, we maintain close personal contact and keep a clear view of each child’s development. Early childhood education (VE) is standard at our centre. We apply the Montessori method, encouraging children’s natural curiosity and supporting them in discovering and learning independently. Our qualified staff guide this process with care and expertise. We believe collaboration with parents is essential. We work from the pedagogical triangle: child, professional, and parent are connected. This creates a warm and secure environment where every child can develop to their full potential.
