Kindcentrum Kompas

Kindcentrum Kompas is located at De Tjalk 2 in the centre of Dedemsvaart and is part of Stichting Welluswijs Kindcentra. We provide daycare for children aged 0 to 4 in a safe and stimulating play-and-learn environment. Our qualified staff make sure every child feels seen and valued, so self-confidence can flourish. Development through play is our guiding principle. We start the day with toddler gym, sing together during ‘music for baby, toddler and pre-schooler’, and then head to our studio for crafts and discovery. Sand- and water-play are on the daily menu, and yoga sessions are offered as well. Of course we read from our extensive children’s library every day and spend as much time as possible outside on our secure green playground. Parents do not need to bring nappies, wipes or care products; we supply everything. Lunch is a warm, fresh vegetable meal provided by Madaga, and we share fruit and drinks throughout the day. Does your child have an allergy or special diet? We are happy to adjust the menu. Half-day care is possible and flexible hours can be arranged. We use an officially recognised observation tool to closely monitor each child’s well-being and development. The results are discussed with you during regular personal meetings. Together we ensure a smooth transition to primary school and provide tailored early-years education (VVE).
