KDV Kommelkwartier

KDV Kommelkwartier is a true Maastricht childcare facility located in the heart of the city, as part of Kindcentrum Aloysius. Together with Sint Aloysius primary school, we form a warm place that stands for security, quality and optimal development for every child. Our close-knit team provides small-scale childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years. Our location at Brusselsestraat 46 features a baby group where babies and toddlers are cared for together. Here, children learn from an early age to take each other into account, play together and share. We follow each child's individual eating and sleeping rhythm and encourage the children to play, discover and learn together when they are awake. For the toddler groups, we work with two different groups for children aged 2 to 4 years. These toddlers follow the VVE methodology 'Speelplezier' and receive their program in both a large and small group. Throughout the day, the toddlers are engaged in playful learning and discovery. There are regular activities and meeting moments with the toddlers from our toddler care and the kindergarten children from the primary school, ensuring a smooth transition to primary school. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. We provide a stable, child-friendly and loving environment where every child receives the warmth and attention they deserve.
