Koetjes & Kalfjes

Welcome to Koetjes & Kalfjes, located at Ruiter 1a in Someren. We are an agricultural daycare center offering a safe, homely environment for children from 6 weeks to 4 years old. Our two vertical groups can accommodate up to 72 children. Our facility borders a dairy farm and features its own vegetable garden, farm animals, outdoor sleeping beds and a nearby nature reserve. Every day, children playfully discover animals and nature: they help care for the animals, plant seeds in the garden and enjoy endless outdoor play, all under the guidance of our qualified team. We value peace and security. Our indoor spaces have a warm, homely atmosphere and open directly onto the garden, allowing children to move freely between inside and outside. We follow the pedagogical policy of the Association for Agricultural Childcare (VAK), focusing on each child’s development at their own pace. Our care includes bread meals, drinks, snacks, fruit and diapers. Parents provide formula and special dietary or allergy foods. We are affiliated with VAK and registered in the National Childcare Register under number 170011021. You are warmly invited for an informal visit!
