Welcome to KDV Kobus, a trusted name at Oude Haven 2 in the heart of Odijk for over 40 years. Under the umbrella of Stichting Humankind, we provide high-quality childcare for 52 children aged 0 to 4. Our location is centrally situated on the cycling route to schools, making it an ideal spot for young families in the village and surrounding areas. At KDV Kobus, everything revolves around safety, trust and development. Our experienced pedagogical staff create a warm, homely atmosphere in which every child feels welcome. We work with horizontal groups, so children play with peers and activities are tailored to their developmental stage. The spacious outdoor area – with an exploration garden, football field and challenging play equipment – invites discovery and movement. Inside we have our own kitchen, a creative woodworking corner and a cosy play attic where imagination can run wild. We believe it is important that children have the space to develop through play. That is why we offer daily activities that match their curiosity and talents. Nature plays an important role in this: in our garden, children learn about plants, animals and the seasons through play. We also regularly work with themes that connect to the world of experience of young children. KDV Kobus is open Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:30. We offer flexible childcare options, tailored to the wishes of parents. Our location has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since 1 January 2010 under number 920285144.
