Kasteeltuin

Welcome to daycare Kasteeltuin, located at Groot Ypelaardreef 75 in the IJpelaar district of Breda. As part of the Kasteeltuin child centre, we provide care for children aged 0 to 4 in a green, adventurous setting. Our location is designed to be challenging, open, spacious and playful. Each of the three horizontal groups has its own room, tailored to the age and developmental stage of the children. We also regularly use our two large play halls: perfect for dancing, climbing, clambering or even setting up a real campsite with tents. Our natural garden is a true discovery zone. With an experience trail, cycling track, outdoor kitchen, picnic lawn, vegetable garden, a sheltered corner for babies and outdoor cribs, it offers plenty of room for adventure. We are proud to hold the Green Childcare quality label from Stichting Groen Cement. Forgot the wellies? No worries: we have plenty of outdoor play clothing on site. At Kasteeltuin we work from a clear pedagogical vision: children are given space to develop through play. We offer pre-school education (VVE) and tailor our activities to each child’s developmental stage. From singing and making music to reading books in our cosy reading corner, from crafting in the open studio to helping out in the vegetable garden — every day is different. Even the youngest ones have their own protected baby garden with soft grass and a dedicated baby sandpit. We provide nappies, hot meals, fruit and healthy snacks. Everything is included in the hourly rate. Parents are kept up to date with their child’s daily experiences through the Parent App. Every year we organise a cosy autumn walk with handmade lanterns, where parents, grandparents and carers are warmly welcome.
