KDV Kleinkunst

Welcome to KDV Kleinkunst, our warm and cosy daycare centre in the Nesselande district of Rotterdam. We are an officially registered KDV location with room for up to 57 children, divided into a baby group (0-2 years) and a toddler group (2-4 years). Everyone quickly feels at home here thanks to the homely atmosphere and the dedication of our permanent team of pedagogical staff. We follow the Early Childhood Education programme to stimulate language, thinking and numeracy skills in a playful way. Each month focuses on a new theme; think of ‘animals in the garden’, ‘colours and shapes’ or ‘making music’. Within these themes we offer activities such as reading aloud, singing, crafts and outdoor play in our safe garden. The groups are horizontally arranged, so that children are surrounded by peers and we can perfectly tailor activities to their developmental level. Our location is equipped with separate sleeping areas, a soft baby corner, a creative corner with safe materials and a large table where we enjoy fruit and bread meals together. We provide nappies, wipes and bottle feeding if required and take food allergies into account. The door is only accessible with a personal tag, so parents and children always feel safe.
