Welcome to Klein & Wijs, a small-scale, professional and informal daycare centre located at Dokter Bloemenlaan 9-61 in Tilburg. We are a horizontal daycare centre with three small core groups: a baby group, toddler group and preschool group. This setup allows us to care for a maximum of 23 children, with a strong focus on calmness, attention and quality. Our location is situated in the residential area of De Leyhoeve. The spaces are bright and atmospherically designed so that children feel at home right away. By working in small groups, we can give every baby, toddler or preschooler the personal attention they deserve. Our team consists of experienced childcare professionals who all have a strong affinity with the youngest children. Driven by our passion for early childhood development, we closely observe each child’s progress and regularly report to parents. Klein & Wijs is an inclusive daycare centre. This means that children with specific care needs – such as those who are deaf or hard of hearing – are warmly welcomed. We approach every child from their own possibilities and needs. Our pedagogical approach is centred on providing a safe, warm environment in which children can develop optimally. We use themes such as ‘Enjoy Your Meal’ to playfully focus on healthy eating and habits. We offer both full and half-day care, with a minimum of two days per week. Parents can apply for childcare allowance through the Dutch Tax Administration using our LRK number 152948132.
