KindRijk Oceaan

KindRijk Oceaan is our daycare centre located in the Rietkampen district of Ede, housed within primary school De Brugge at Wilsondreef 45. We provide small-scale, loving care for up to 41 children aged 0 to 4. Our groups are horizontally structured: the ‘Seahorse’ group for children 0-2.5 years and the ‘Turtle’ group for children 2.5-4 years. We also run a dedicated toddler group called ‘Seal’. We operate from a Christian identity. Our pedagogical staff are believers, and children experience this in daily practice: we pray before meals, share Bible stories and give extra attention to Christian holidays and their meaning. Guided by this identity we make conscious choices in our programme: no Halloween, no violent games or films. Development is central to our approach. We offer pre-school education (VE) so every child can playfully acquire the skills needed for a smooth transition to primary school. Music, expression and creativity are part of every day; we sing, craft and read aloud. Our spacious, secure garden invites outdoor play and nature discovery. Care is in trusted hands: nappies, wipes, formula and healthy snacks are included. We accommodate allergies and special diets. Each child has their own cot in a quiet bedroom.
