Welcome to Kinderwoud POV De Oudvaart, our warm and secure daycare in the heart of Sneek. Located on the ground floor of De Oudvaart primary school at Loëngasterlaan 3, we care for up to 32 children aged 0 to 4. Our small, enthusiastic team of qualified and caring staff is ready every day to offer your child loving attention and gentle stimulation. We follow Kinderwoud’s developmental model, which means we provide exactly the right activities and materials for every stage of development. Learning through play is central: we sing, move, craft and discover together. Our themes are linked to current events—children have already taken an imaginary trip around the world, explored emotions and stepped back in time with an archaeology workshop. Each week there is room for music, movement and healthy cooking and baking. Activities are enriched with fun local outings. The youngest children have their own sleeping rooms and a quiet baby corner. We change and feed your child according to the home routine; nappies and wipes are included. Fruit, drinks and a healthy bread meal are standard, and we are happy to discuss any special dietary needs. Our spacious garden with natural play equipment invites outdoor play and discovery. We work closely with the school in an integrated child-centre partnership, so your child experiences a safe and familiar environment. At Kinderwoud POV De Oudvaart children grow and learn at their own pace. We keep you informed through our app and regularly discuss your child’s progress.
