Kinderopvang Unikids 2.0

Welcome to Kinderopvang Unikids 2.0 located at Abdij van Bernestraat 199 in Tilburg. We are a small-scale, international and flexible daycare centre where children come first. Since 2013, we have been working closely with Tilburg University to enable parents, students and expats to combine work, study and family life in a pleasant way. Our daycare provides care for up to 56 children aged 0 to 4 years. We work with vertical groups, meaning children of different ages play and learn together. Toddlers learn from the preschoolers and preschoolers learn to take younger children into account. The spacious, bright areas create a homely atmosphere where every child can be themselves. In addition to four group rooms, we have a large hall and a garden where joint activities take place. Communication is bilingual in Dutch and English. All information to parents is provided in both languages, so international parents stay fully informed. During childcare itself, our pedagogical staff speak Dutch, supported by gestures, examples and body language. This stimulates children's language development in a natural way. Flexibility is central to our approach. We have a flexible exchange policy, allowing parents to easily swap days without additional costs. There is no waiting list, so new parents can quickly get a place. Our opening hours are from 7:30 to 18:30, with the possibility to request childcare from 7:00. We are open Monday to Friday and closed on national holidays. Our approach is based on trust, a fixed place and personal attention. Each child receives the care they need, in an environment where small-scale and stability are paramount. We work with familiar faces for the children and direct contact points for parents.
