Welcome to Partou Daycare Petteflet, located on quiet Tamboerpad 2 in Leiden’s Stations district. Since 2010 our colourful, 450 m² building has been a warm second home for up to 78 children aged 0–4. The centre is surrounded by green play areas and offers a large, adventurous outdoor playground with climbing equipment and a vegetable garden where the children grow their own herbs and vegetables. We organise four bright, age-based groups: a cosy baby corner for the youngest, a toddler room full of discoveries, a pre-school group with creative corners and a pre-school atelier where imagination can run free. Each group has its own stable team of caring professionals who really get to know your child and guide development at the child’s own pace. Our belief is simple: every child is unique and deserves space to play, grow and learn in a way that suits them. The daily rhythm is flexible yet built around familiar moments. We start with a shared breakfast, followed by picture-book reading, singing and music, arts and crafts in the atelier and, of course, lots of outdoor play. Our professional kitchen provides fresh, warm meals and healthy snacks every day, taking allergies and dietary wishes into account. Parents receive photo updates and short reports through our app so they never have to miss first steps or proud drawings. We believe in the power of small-scale care and personal attention. Small groups allow us to know every child and every parent. Together we turn every day into an adventure, safely sheltered under our roof—almost as nice as home.
