Welcome to Daycare Jan Huigen, located at Danslaan 72 in Almere. We are a small-scale daycare centre with 16 places, divided into two horizontal age groups: a baby group for children aged 0 to 2 years and a toddler group for children aged 2 to 4 years. Each group has a maximum of 8 children, allowing us to provide personal attention. Our pedagogical team consists of 5 permanent childcare professionals who create a homely and safe environment. We follow the Early Childhood Education programme to stimulate your child's development. Our activities are tailored to your child's age and developmental stage: we do arts and crafts, sing, read stories and play outside in our own garden. We provide care from Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM and are open 50 weeks per year. Half-day care is possible. For the youngest children we provide bottle feeding and fresh fruit, and we take allergies or dietary requirements into account. The children sleep in separate bedrooms equipped with cots and bedding. Our location is securely enclosed and has its own outdoor playground where children can cycle, climb and play. We believe it is important that children feel at home with us and that parents can leave their child with peace of mind.
