Welcome to Kinderopvang Hollands Kroon, our daycare centre in Hippolytushoef. We provide care for children aged 0 to 4 in a homely and safe environment. The centre is located at Elft 49, just a stone’s throw from Kindcentrum Op de Elft, where our preschool and after-school care are also situated. Our daycare consists of two horizontal groups, ensuring that activities and guidance are tailored to the age and developmental stage of your child. Outside, children enjoy a large private playground where they can run, explore and get fresh air every day. The natural play area stimulates imagination and motor skills. We believe it is important for children to discover the world around them. Therefore, we use themes that connect with young children’s experiences. Our site features chickens, rabbits and, in spring, even lambs. These animals provide calm, security and a first introduction to nature. We also organise small outings in the beautiful rural surroundings of Hollands Kroon. For the youngest children we offer a secure attachment environment with plenty of attention to rhythm, rest and regularity. For toddlers, the focus is on learning through play and developing independence. We follow the Uk & Puk method, a recognised programme for early childhood education. This approach stimulates language and speech development, social-emotional skills and motor development, laying a solid foundation for the transition to primary school.
