Kinderopvang De Pionier

Kinderdagverblijf De Pionier is located at Alde Terp 2 in Dokkum and is part of Stichting Kinderopvang Friesland. We provide daycare for children aged 0 to 4 in four bright, home-style groups filled with stimulating play materials. Each day begins with our Music Quarter, combining fun, music, creativity and cooperation. Four times a year we explore an engaging theme that is immediately visible in our entrance hall. Our professional pedagogical staff deliver a development-focused programme in which toddlers enjoy weekly yoga sessions led by a qualified instructor and gym classes in the gymnasium of primary school De Pionier, situated directly opposite our facility. This close collaboration ensures a seamless transition: school children visit us for reading sessions or performances, and we regularly join in their activities. Outside, children discover an exciting garden with corners, hedges and wooden play structures. We go outdoors every day, even in light rain, and often take walks to the nearby forest. In our communal living room children can quietly read, craft or take part in joint activities in the hall. Together we create a safe, familiar environment where every child can develop at their own pace.
