Kinderopvang de Parel

Welcome to Kinderopvang de Parel, located on the grounds of primary school De Parel at Westersingel 2 in Berkel en Rodenrijs. Starting 1 September 2025 we will offer small-scale, home-like daycare for children from 10 weeks to 4 years in partnership with De Koeienwei. Our setting has two vertical groups of up to 12 children each. In a vertical group children of different ages play together; toddlers learn from babies and vice versa. Qualified pedagogical staff create a safe and familiar environment in which every child is given space to develop at his or her own pace. We have a beautiful inner garden and a large playground. The garden is designed according to the natural play principle: natural materials, planting and small hills stimulate imagination and invite discovery. Children go outside every day; weather rarely stops us. We believe children should be allowed to run, climb and – whenever possible – get nicely dirty. Kinderopvang de Parel works closely with the kindergarten groups of primary school De Parel. The children meet the teachers and the school environment at an early age, making the transition to kindergarten smooth. Parents who later choose a different primary school are of course also very welcome. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. Drop-off is between 7:30 and 8:45 am, pick-up from 4:30 to 5:45 pm, ensuring a calm and personal hand-over.
