Welcome to Kinderopvang De Geheime Tuin De Bilt, a small-scale daycare centre located in a quiet, green area at Weltevreden 6 in De Bilt. Our daycare is part of Kinderopvang De Geheime Tuin B.V., an anthroposophically inspired organisation providing conscious childcare for children aged 0 to 13. In De Bilt, we specifically focus on children aged 2 to 4 years, with intake possible from 1.5 years. Our toddler group is open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM. We work with small groups where personal attention and calm are central. The interior is homely and natural, with extensive use of wooden play materials and soft colours. We follow the rhythm of the seasons and pay much attention to nature experience. The children help in the vegetable garden, bake bread and go outside every day. At De Geheime Tuin, we maintain a clear pedagogical vision based on anthroposophical insights. Each child is unique and given space to develop at their own pace. We work with familiar faces, so children quickly feel safe and secure. Our teachers are specialised in guiding young children and guarantee a warm, sheltered atmosphere. We believe it is important that parents are involved in their child's development. There is room for consultation and we regularly inform parents about progress. Our goal is to work together with parents to lay a solid foundation for each child's future.
