Welcome to Kinderopvang De Bereboot, a small-scale childcare center in the heart of Assen where we have been providing loving and personal care for children aged 8 weeks to 4 years for over 20 years. Our location on Prins Hendrikstraat offers a homely and safe environment where young children can develop optimally. We consciously work with vertical groups, where children of different ages are together in one group. We compare this to a family composition: the youngest learn from the older children and the older children develop their caring and sense of responsibility. From arrival to the exciting step to primary school, children stay in the same group with permanent pedagogical staff, creating strong bonds of trust. Our pedagogical staff are involved professionals who are trained as baby specialists. They follow your baby's rhythm and offer sensory play, stimulating all senses. For older children, we organize thematic activities that match their world of experience, such as creative assignments, dance and music, cooking and baking, and discovering nature. In this way, we stimulate motor development, social-emotional skills, language development and arithmetic stimuli. Healthy nutrition and sufficient exercise are central to us. We serve fresh, hot meals and healthy snacks. Our spacious garden offers plenty of opportunities to play and discover outside. Through our digital parent portal, we keep you informed of all your child's experiences and you can easily request extra days or report absences.
