Welcome to daycare Calimero, located at Grotestraat 24 in the centre of Rossum. We provide small-scale, professional childcare for up to twenty children aged 0 to 4. Playful learning, fun and development are at the heart of everything we do. We use DoenKids, a digital activity platform that helps us challenge every child in an age-appropriate way. For children aged 2½ to 4 we offer pre- and early-school education (VVE), preparing them playfully for primary school. We believe children should feel safe and at home; therefore we create a homely atmosphere in which every child has room to be themselves. Our qualified pedagogical staff are ready every day with personal attention and a warm heart. A special part of our programme is the monthly visit to Villa Volthe, a day-care centre for elderly people with memory problems or early dementia. During these encounters children learn, through play, how to interact with other generations and develop their social skills.
