BijdeHandjes - De Regenboog

Welcome to Daycare BijdeHandjes Doornspijk, located at Zuiderzeestraatweg West 79 in the friendly village of Doornspijk, Gelderland. We are a small-scale daycare centre that offers a loving second home to a maximum of 16 children aged 0 to 4. Our homely building stands right next to De Regenboog primary school and borders on woods and meadows, so your child can play, explore and grow up in a safe, green environment every single day. Everything we do revolves around calm, structure and personal attention. We work with two fixed age groups: a baby group (0-2 years) and a toddler group (2-4 years). Each group has its own familiar pedagogical staff who really get to know your child. Thanks to this horizontal set-up we can respond precisely to your son or daughter’s stage of development. Our rooms are bright, warm and cosily furnished with natural materials that invite play and relaxation. Learning through play is central. We provide pre-school education (VE) using themes that connect to the world of experience of young children—think seasons, animals, traffic or the forest. We read from picture books and from the children’s Bible, sing Christian songs and pray together before meals. Every day we play outside in our secure garden or take a walk across the playground and the adjacent nature reserve. Rain or shine, fresh air makes every child alert and happy. Parents experience us as involved and open. We believe it is important that you can follow and discuss your child’s development. That is why we schedule regular parent meetings and keep you informed via a parent portal. Settling-in sessions, a personal intake interview and flexible childcare days make starting with us as smooth as possible. Together we ensure that your child comes to BijdeHandjes with a smile and goes home with an even bigger one.
