Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf Yellowstone, located at Yellowstone 9 in the Weidevenne district of Purmerend. Since May 22, 2025, we have been welcoming children aged 0 to 4 years at our new, modern location. As part of Stichting Kinderopvang Purmerend (SKOP), we provide care for up to 30 children, divided between a baby group and a toddler group. Our experienced Pedagogical Staff and Baby Specialists ensure your baby quickly feels at home. We cuddle, bottle-feed, sing songs, and work together on establishing a pleasant daily rhythm that aligns as much as possible with your home routine. For the toddler group, this means playing with peers, dancing, singing, crafting, and discovering the world step by step. Each day starts between 7:00 and 9:30 AM with dropping off your child. We briefly discuss how things are going and start the day. At 9:30 AM, we enjoy a shared fruit snack, followed by playtime or nap time. At 11:30 AM, we serve a fresh, warm meal - ranging from softly cooked vegetables to a complete children's meal. After lunch, there's more playtime or an afternoon nap. Around 3:00 PM, we offer a healthy snack with bread, crackers, and sliced vegetables. We love playing outdoors in our own playground with sandbox, slide, and various ride-on toys. For the youngest ones, we take walks in the park where your baby can sleep peacefully in the stroller. The day ends from 4:30 PM with picking up your child, where we briefly discuss the day and you receive a full report via the Parent App. We believe it's important that your child has already enjoyed a healthy, warm meal before pickup. This saves you time in the evening and helps develop healthy eating habits. Our location is easily accessible with free parking right outside. We're open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM, including during school holidays. We're only closed on national holidays and one study day per year.
