Kinderdagverblijf Wilton's Hof

Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf Wilton’s Hof, a small-scale agricultural daycare centre located at Steenovenweg 4 in Oost-, West- and Middelbeers. Since April 2012, we have been providing childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years in two vertical groups of up to 16 children each. Our daycare is part of Zorgboerderij Wilton’s Hof and is uniquely situated on the edge of the forest, between Oirschot and Oostelbeers. At Wilton’s Hof, everything revolves around nature and outdoor life. We are a daycare with a green edge: we go outside every day. Children help care for our chickens and rabbits, work in the garden, and join in harvesting. Our spacious outdoor area offers plenty of play opportunities, including a sensory bin, a willow hut, a sandbox and a small hill. For the youngest ones, sheltered outdoor cribs are available under a canopy, so they too can enjoy sleeping outside. Our group spaces are cosy and homely. Each group includes a changing area, a kitchen corner and a child-friendly toilet. The nap room is directly connected to the group area, offering peace and familiarity. From the group room, children can look through a window into our barn, where cows and a pony roam freely. In bad weather, children can play inside the barn, climb on hay and straw and feed the animals. We believe that nature and natural elements play an important role in a child’s development. That’s why we offer an environment centred around space, freedom and openness. Children are welcome to join in, but never obliged: we follow each child’s rhythm and needs. Thanks to our collaboration with the care farm, children also regularly interact with elderly people who attend our day activities. Singing, gymnastics or taking a walk together enriches the day for both young and old. Kinderdagverblijf Wilton’s Hof is affiliated with the United Agricultural Childcare Association (VAK). We work with fixed childcare days and are open Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Occasional extension of childcare hours is possible by arrangement.
