Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf Van Dijck, located in the characteristic, over 100-year-old school building of Van Dijckschool at Van Dijcklaan 4 in Bilthoven. As part of Kind & Co Ludens, we offer childcare and education under one roof, ensuring a smooth and familiar transition from daycare to primary school. We work with vertical groups for children aged 0 to 4. In these groups, younger children learn from the older ones and vice versa; this fosters social skills and gives every child the space to develop at their own pace. Our pedagogical approach is based on Kind & Co Ludens’ ‘Pedagogical Heart’: children feel welcome, are given trust, and discover the world in a rich, challenging environment. Play is discovery and learning; therefore, we actively provide an inspiring play and learning environment that encourages curiosity. The location features a large group room and an outdoor area connected to the school. Bilthoven is surrounded by forests, and our outdoor space invites children to play and explore. We are easily accessible by public transport and offer ample free parking for parents arriving by car. Our opening hours are from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM, providing flexibility to match parents’ working hours. Kinderdagverblijf Van Dijck is there for every child. We offer early childhood education (VVE), preparing children for primary school in a playful manner. Thanks to our collaboration with Van Dijckschool, children who attend our daycare receive priority placement at the school.
