Kinderdagverblijf Teun

Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf Teun, a small-scale, homely childcare facility located at Stoofweg 40 in Noordwelle. We provide care for up to 6 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our daycare is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, at least 48 weeks per year. At Kinderdagverblijf Teun, we focus on the optimal development of your child in a familiar, homely and child-friendly environment. The care we provide is an extension of the home situation. We pay great attention to preserving, stimulating and developing children's innate curiosity and creativity. We also value care for nature: we have a mini vegetable garden with vegetables, fruit and flowers where we work together. The children help feed the chickens and collect eggs themselves. This way they learn to take each other into account and to share. Our daily schedule consists of free play, eating and drinking with a song or rhyme, toilet visits and/or diaper changes, arts and crafts, outdoor play with the animals, lunch and if desired an afternoon nap. We work with horizontal groups, where children of approximately the same age are together in a group. This provides security and safety. Complete care is included with us: we provide bottle feeding, varied solid food, A-brand diapers (Pampers) and all care products. We serve fresh seasonal fruit daily. After lunch we brush the teeth, for which a personal toothbrush should be provided. We go outside daily with all children, regardless of the weather. For babies we start with outdoor sleeping and as they get older they can explore the garden. We have a spacious garden with different trees, plants and paving, so children can fully discover and experience. Parents can always make an appointment to visit without obligation. We invite registered children to come and have a look and offer the possibility to come and play for 3 hours free of charge to see if they like it.
