Kinderdagverblijf 't Werfje

Kinderdagverblijf 't Werfje is a distinctive daycare centre located on the Langerwerf family farm at Kijldijk 1 in Oosteind, municipality of Oosterhout. Half of a barn has been converted into a welcoming childcare facility, allowing children to be cared for right on the farm. The location accommodates up to 32 children aged 0 to 4 years and has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since 1 January 2018 under number 698347523. We believe in the power of the natural environment. Every day the children go outside to climb, scramble, dig and run. The spacious green outdoor area in front of the daycare offers plenty of opportunities to play, discover, learn and experience. Contact with animals – such as the horses housed on the farm – has a positive effect on children’s health, self-confidence and resilience. We provide overalls and wellies, because getting a little dirty is part of the fun. Our childcare is housed in a section of the barn, with a separate after-school room that looks out on the foals in the stable. This unique setting gives children a sense of peace, space and freedom. We offer a safe and familiar place where every child can develop at his or her own pace, surrounded by the natural environment of the Brabant countryside.
