Kinderdagverblijf 't Schommeltje

Welcome to daycare centre ’t Schommeltje, a homely location of the Stichting Kinderopvang Regio Schagen (SKRS) at Iepenlaan 54 in Schagen. We provide care for up to 32 children in a single vertical group for children aged 0 to 4. The group space consists of two cosy bedrooms, a complete sanitary area and a large natural outdoor area that has been awarded the Green Childcare Quality Mark. Here children can safely romp, discover and play among the greenery. Our team of experienced pedagogical staff – Ank, Dewi, Karina, Brigitte and Carolien – is ready every day to warmly and personally guide your child. We believe it is important that every child feels safe and secure. For the very youngest we follow their individual sleep and feeding rhythms, while the older children are offered a recognisable daily structure with fixed moments for play, rest and development. Together we sing songs, read books, do crafts and engage in imaginative play. No two days are the same, but every day is filled with loving attention. ’t Schommeltje is part of IKC De Rank: in the same building you will find our toddler group De Trommel and after-school care De Rank, and we work closely with primary school De Rank. This provides a continuous line from 0 to 12 years in one familiar place. You can choose regular day care or flexible care, ideal for varying working hours.
