Lindetuin

Lindetuin is our warm, homely daycare centre in the Tuindorp/de Kievit district of Tilburg Reeshof. We provide daycare and toddler care for children aged 0 to 4. Our location is centrally situated, close to Reeshof park. The lime tree is our symbol of protection and connection, reflected in the way we work: we care with love and attention so that every child feels at home and can grow into a wise “tree”. Our rooms were completely renovated in 2025. We have six groups, divided into baby groups (0-2 years) and mixed-age groups (0-4 years). Doors between groups are often opened so toddlers can roam freely and explore. Indoors everything is fresh and modern in natural colours. At the entrance stands our “Lime Tree”, a central meeting place for parents, children and staff. In the open kitchen we prepare healthy meals together with the children. Outside we have a large green discovery garden of almost 500 m² where children can run, cycle, climb, play in the sand and discover nature. Even the youngest have their own spot. We regularly take trips to the nearby Reeshof park and other local nature areas. Structure and routine are very important to us. We align the daily rhythm with each baby or toddler’s personal rhythm and work with fixed, dedicated pedagogical staff. We see parenting as a shared task: we like to think along with parents and actively involve grandparents and other family members in the care. Communication runs through our Parent app and during drop-off and pick-up. We provide pre-school education (VE) using the Startblokken programme. This programme uses current themes that connect with young children’s world. Through play we stimulate language, numeracy, motor skills and social-emotional development, working together towards a smooth transition to primary school.
