Kinderdagverblijf Ochten

Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf Ochten, located at a quiet spot on Hoeflaan 5a in Ochten. We are part of RivaKids and provide daycare for children from 0 to 4 years in a homely, safe setting. Our location is open Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. A day with us starts with a warm hand-over at drop-off; we involve the child and wave goodbye together. Afterwards there is plenty of room to play. We sing songs, read books and enjoy fruit together. Every day we go outside at least twice—rain or shine—in our large garden where every season brings new discoveries. We believe in ‘Buitengewoon RivaKids’ and encourage children to explore, run and get messy. At the table moments we eat bread and drink water or milk. These are calm moments where we focus on social interaction and table manners. For the youngest we take care of nappy changes and bottle feeding; changing a nappy is more than a clean diaper—it is a one-on-one moment of attention and we playfully help children become more independent. After lunch it is time to rest. The youngest sleep in our separate sleep rooms. Later we offer activities such as crafts, singing and dancing. Not in the mood for an activity? There is always plenty of play material and different corners for free play. We end the day with a healthy snack and a personal hand-over to parents. Our qualified staff work in horizontal age groups so every child receives the right stimulation and rest. We use the RivaKids parent app to keep you updated throughout the day.
