Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf Lytse Krumel, located at Mjûmster Wei 16 in the heart of Bakkeveen. We are a small-scale daycare center where a maximum of 16 children aged 0 to 4 years find a warm second home. Our daycare has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since September 1, 2024, and meets all national quality requirements. Under the leadership of Mirjan van der Veer-Klasen, who has over 9 years of experience as a childminder, we have realized the dream of creating a safe and stimulating environment where children can be themselves. At Lytse Krumel, the child is central. Every child is unique and develops at their own pace. We actively respond to the child's world of experience by giving attention and time and following with interest what occupies them. Our vision is clear: children must feel safe and be given the space to develop themselves. We do this from a warm, stimulating environment in which we support the child in his or her development. Our location at Mjûmster Wei 16 is situated on the grounds of Recreation Center Dúndelle, in the middle of the beautiful nature of Bakkeveen. We make full use of our outdoor space where children can play with water, sand, and mud. Getting dirty doesn't exist with us! We believe that outdoor play is essential for children's development and therefore offer daily opportunities to romp in nature. Through fixed daily routines and rituals, we provide structure and security, while encouraging children to listen to each other and take into account everyone's needs and possibilities. Kinderdagverblijf Lytse Krumel is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. We work with vertical groups, where children of different ages play and learn together. This stimulates social development and creates a homely atmosphere in which younger children learn from older children and vice versa. As parents, you can apply for childcare allowance for our care, as we meet all legal requirements and are under the supervision of the GGD Fryslân.
