Kinderdagverblijf kindcentrum het Kompas

Day-care centre Kindcentrum Het Kompas is located on the ground floor of primary school Het Kompas at Polderstraat 44 in Heijningen. Since 1 January 2024 both the school and the day-care fall under Abbo Kindcentra, giving parents one familiar point of contact for childcare and education. We provide care for up to eight children aged 0 to 4 years. The group room is furnished in a homely style and opens directly onto a safe, private outdoor area where children play and explore daily. Our pedagogical policy is drawn up in accordance with the Dutch Childcare Innovation and Quality Act (IKK) and focuses on the core competences: emotional safety, personal competence, social competence and learning norms and values. We operate from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., 51 weeks a year. Because we are highly flexible in days and hours of care, we fit seamlessly with the needs of parents in Heijningen and the surrounding area.
