Kinderdagverblijf Het Speelkasteel

Located at Berkstraat 91 in Oldenzaal, Kinderdagverblijf Het Speelkasteel is a welcoming childcare centre run by Stichting Humankind. We provide day-care for up to 89 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our horizontal groups – two baby-toddler rooms (0-2 yrs) on the ground floor and two pre-school rooms (2-4 yrs) on the first floor – ensure that every child receives care tailored to his or her developmental stage. Our work is guided by humanistic values: we believe every child has the right to grow and flourish. Each day follows a predictable rhythm of play, rest, meals and cuddles. Qualified staff read stories, sing songs and support language and motor development in age-appropriate ways. We offer Early Childhood Education (VVE) activities that gently introduce counting, colours and storytelling through play. Children enjoy a large outdoor playground for running, climbing and discovery. Indoors you will find safe, hygienic facilities: separate sleeping areas with cribs or floor beds, bottle-warmers, changing stations and cosy corners for quiet time. Fruit, drinks and a sandwich are included; special diets can be arranged on request. Half-day care is available and parents can apply for childcare allowance. Together with parents we create a secure environment where every child can simply be themselves.
