Welcome to Daycare Het Luchtkasteel, a special location of TintelTuin in the heart of Oostzaan. Our castle-like building at Anemoonstraat 41 provides a warm home for children aged 0 to 4 years. In four atmospheric rooms we have created various corners for different age groups. Each room has its own home corner, construction corner and quiet reading corner where children can retreat. We work with vertical groups that each have their own space, but are connected through a spacious hall where children from different groups can play together and meet each other. Outdoor play is a big celebration with us. In our beautiful, enclosed garden there is always something to discover. Children can bake sand cakes in the sandbox, slide down the slide or play with a ball. The garden is safely enclosed and offers plenty of opportunities for natural discoveries among the plants and shrubs. We believe that outdoor play is essential for the development of young children and therefore we go outside almost daily, rain or shine. In addition to our daycare, we also offer toddler play. Here children aged 2 to 4 are playfully prepared for primary school. Under the guidance of our own pedagogical staff, they make new friends. They learn to play together, share and take each other into account in a safe and familiar environment. There is a lot of attention for language development, motor skills and social skills. We read aloud, sing together, craft and play games that stimulate development. We only work with full-day care, so that children get the peace and continuity they need. Our pedagogical staff are ready every day to make it a special day. We find it important that every child feels seen and valued, so that they can play, grow and develop with peace of mind in our castle in the air.
