Kinderdagverblijf De Woelwaters is located in a quiet, charming courtyard just off Huizerpoortstraat 16A in Naarden. We offer small-scale, homely childcare for children aged 0 to 4. Accessed through a secluded courtyard, our setting is calm, spacious and centred on personal attention. We run three groups under one roof: a baby group for 0–2 year-olds, a toddler group for 2–4 year-olds and a mixed-age group for 0–4 year-olds. Every child is given room to develop at his or her own pace. Our close-knit team of pedagogical staff know every child and each other, creating a warm, secure environment. Language development and pre-school education (VVE) are woven into daily play. New words, concepts and social skills are stimulated naturally. The rooms are bright, low-stimulus and child-height; children decide where to play—building corner, table activities or outdoors. We provide soft and hard materials so children can explore the world through all their senses. Outside there is a spacious green playground with climbing equipment and hiding spots. We go outside every day; outdoor play stimulates the brain and builds resilience. Even in less friendly weather we head out—wet feet and muddy hands are part of the adventure. We are open 52 weeks a year, Monday to Friday 8:00–18:00, closing only on official public holidays, the SKBNM study day and the Friday after Ascension Day. Warm meals and healthy snacks are included; we accommodate allergies and dietary needs. Parents describe us as a friendly, small centre where everyone knows each other and children love to come.
