Kinderdagverblijf De Springplank

Kinderdagverblijf De Springplank is located in the Brede Basisschool Centrum at Prins Bernhardstraat 40D in Brunssum. We are part of Flow kinderopvang and provide childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years. We operate two horizontal groups: a baby group for children aged 0 to 2 years and a toddler group for children aged 2 to 4 years. The baby group has three permanent pedagogical staff members caring for a maximum of 12 children, ensuring ample attention for each child. The toddler group accommodates 16 children with two permanent staff members. We provide development-oriented childcare with pre- and early-school education (VVE) following the 'Speelplezier' program. Our fixed daily schedule offers recognition and structure with set meal, care, and play times, taking into account your child's sleep rhythm. We value outdoor play highly and therefore go outside daily, even in less favorable weather. Outdoor play promotes motor development and social skills. Our location collaborates with De Opstap primary school and De Trampoline primary school as partner schools. This makes the transition to primary school easier later on. We coordinate VVE themes, organize joint activities, and have quarterly coupling meetings about the continuous learning line. We believe good communication with parents is essential. There is daily time for mutual handover and we keep you informed about your child's day through the Konnect app. Our opening hours are from 07:00 to 19:00, 52 weeks per year. Half-day care is available.
