Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf De Drie Biggetjes, located in the beautiful countryside of Hertme at Wetering 3. Our facility provides a safe and homely environment where children aged 0 to 4 are cared for in small-scale groups. Thanks to our unique location, surrounded by nature and various animals, children experience new adventures every day. At our daycare, everything revolves around personal attention and tailored development. We work with permanent pedagogical staff who know each child well and can respond to individual needs. Our groups are horizontally structured: babies and toddlers (0-18 months) are in separate rooms, while toddlers and preschoolers (12 months - 4 years) come together in the Barn or Stable. The transition between these groups takes place between 12 and 18 months, depending on the child's development. Our facilities are specially designed for young children. For babies, we have a cozy space on the first floor with separate bedrooms and care corners. Toddlers have access to a spacious play area on the ground floor with direct access to our natural outdoor space. Here children can play with sand, water and greenery while getting acquainted with our animals. The outdoor area is safely fenced and offers plenty of opportunities for discovery and movement. We provide daily fresh, healthy meals adapted to the child's age. For babies, we handle bottle feeding according to parents' wishes, including warming expressed breast milk. Diapers and care products are included in our care. Toddlers are offered warm meals, fruit and snacks, taking into account any allergies or dietary requirements. Our approach is characterized by flexibility and open communication. We don't follow a fixed schedule, allowing us to optimally respond to each child's natural rhythm. Every morning we take ample time for personal reception and information exchange with parents. At the end of the day, you receive digital feedback with photos and an overview of the day. We offer both half and full day sessions, with a minimum of 2 sessions per week. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday from 7:45 AM to 5:45 PM, all year round (except national holidays). As a registered childcare facility in the National Childcare Register (LRK 124061801), we provide preschool education (VE) and meet all national quality requirements.
