Partou KDV Rijssenbeeklaan 1

Welcome to Partou daycare centre Rijssenbeeklaan 1 in the heart of Gennep. We are located in the new Pagepark neighbourhood, within walking distance of a primary school and right next to the Rijssenbeekhuis. Our two ground-floor groups provide care for 32 children: 16 babies aged 0-2 and 16 toddlers aged 2-4. Each morning we start the day with a song at the table, followed by fresh fruit and theme-based activities. Around 11.30 a.m. we share a bread-based lunch, after which the children rest or sleep in our dedicated sleep rooms. Our brand-new outdoor area invites active play: there is a baby corner and challenging play equipment for toddlers and pre-schoolers. We go outside at least once a day – weather permitting – and make use of the nearby playground and woods. We often take the children on set routes through the neighbourhood and visit the petting zoo within walking distance. A special weekly moment is our contact with the Rijssenbeekhuis: together with the residents we sing songs, do crafts or play drama games. The encounter between young and old brings joy and meaning to both generations. We follow the Early Childhood Education programme ‘Startblokken’ that is tailored to children aged 0-4. Every member of our pedagogical staff is the fixed mentor for a number of children; they closely monitor development and discuss observations with parents twice a year. We also keep parents informed through the Partou parent app: photos, sleep and meal times, and the option to swap days or request extra care when space is available. Our centre is open Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and works with horizontal age groups, so every child can play and grow in a safe, age-appropriate environment.
