Welcome to KDV Kindercentrum Le Garage located at Ravelstraat 10 in Bergen op Zoom. We provide daycare for children from 10 weeks up to 4 years old in a homely and safe environment. Our childcare center features four horizontal and two vertical groups. In the horizontal groups, children of similar age are placed together, divided into baby-toddler and toddler-preschooler groups. In our vertical groups, children aged 0 to 4 years play and develop together, creating a rich learning environment where younger children learn from older ones and older children learn to be caring. At KDV Kindercentrum Le Garage, we believe in raising children in an environment where not only people but also animals play a role. We have deliberately chosen to have a pet because we believe children develop respect and responsibility through this interaction. Our dog, Sonic, is a familiar face in the group. He has his own spot where he can rest, and children learn that animals, like people, have boundaries. We guide children step by step in learning to 'read' an animal: what a dog enjoys and what it doesn't. This contributes to their social and emotional development. Our location accommodates up to 92 children and has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK) since October 4, 2010. We meet all national quality requirements and are under the supervision of the GGD West-Brabant. Parents can apply for childcare allowance.
