Kindercentrum Knikkebol (KDV)

Kindercentrum Knikkebol (KDV) is a modern daycare centre located in the Huiswaard district of Alkmaar, at Drechterwaard 11. The centre provides care for up to 100 children aged 0 to 4 years and is part of Rollebol Kindercentra, a private organisation that places high value on quality, service and flexibility. The building stands on its own grounds and features a large outdoor play area that every group can access directly. The group rooms are spacious and brightly furnished; the baby groups have their own patio where even the youngest children can safely play and explore. Our qualified pedagogical staff provide a familiar and safe play-and-learn environment in which every child is given the space to develop at their own pace. We work with horizontal groups, so children are placed with peers and activities are tailored to their developmental stage. For the youngest children we provide bottle feeding, fresh fruit and drinks, and supply care products and quiet sleeping areas. Older toddlers enjoy the challenging outdoor space with natural play equipment and receive playful language and motor stimulation. Kindercentrum Knikkebol follows a clear pedagogical policy focused on the broad development of the child. We offer pre-school education (VVE) and align our activities with the world of experience of young children: crafts, singing, reading aloud and outdoor play are central. Parents can choose fixed sessions or flexible care based on hours, so the care fits their personal situation. We are open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and warmly welcome everyone to our beautiful, brand-new daycare centre.
