We are Kindercentrum het Gabbertje, a daycare centre located at 17 Oktoberplein 6 in the heart of IJzendijke. Our centre is part of Stichting Kinderopvang Zeeuwsch Vlaanderen and has been providing trusted and professional childcare for children aged 0 to 4 since 2010. With 52 places, we are well established in the municipality of Sluis and known for our safe and homely atmosphere. Everything we do revolves around a warm start. We work with horizontal groups, ensuring that babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers each receive the attention suited to their developmental stage. Our pedagogical staff are specialised in guiding young children and offer a pre-school educational programme (VE) that aligns with primary school. This programme stimulates language, motor skills and social-emotional development in a playful and natural way. We believe it is important that every child feels safe and seen. That is why we work with familiar faces, a clear daily structure and plenty of outdoor play. Our daycare centre is officially registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK 863417942) and is supervised by the GGD Zeeland. Parents can apply for childcare allowance with us.
