KDV Stiens IKC De Zeeparels

De Zeeparels Daycare in Stiens is dedicated to children aged 0 to 4. Our centre is located in the d’Orient district, right next to primary school De Sprankel, and together with peuteropvang De Oesterkes and after-school care De Sprankel we form Integrated Child Centre (IKC) De Sprankel. We organise care into three clear age groups: a vertical 0-2 group, a horizontal 0-4 group and a horizontal 2-4 group. Each group is open every day, allowing parents to choose either full-day or half-day care. The setting is small-scale and homely so that every child feels safe and secure. Our enthusiastic team of permanent pedagogical staff always puts the child’s needs first. A distinctive feature of De Zeeparels is our bilingual approach. Both Frisian and Dutch are offered daily, following the guidelines of the certificate “Boartsjendewei in taal derby”. Language support is provided by the Sintrum Frysktalige Berne-opfang (SFBO), giving children the opportunity to learn two languages through play from an early age.
