Kindercentrum De Kabouters-De Paddestoel

Kindercentrum De Kabouters-De Paddestoel is a small-scale daycare centre in Assen, located at Aletta Jacobsweg 78. We provide care for up to 14 children aged 0 to 4 years. We work with two core groups: a vertical group for children aged 0-4 and a toddler group for 2-4 year olds. The vertical group allows siblings to be together, giving many children a sense of familiarity. Younger children learn from the older ones, while the older children learn to be considerate of the younger ones. We tailor the layout, activities and daily schedule as much as possible to the children's rhythms. As a small, professional organisation with three locations close together in the Lariks and Kloosterveen districts, we value personal contact with both child and parent.
