Welcome to Kindercentrum de Belhamel, conveniently located at Brinkerweg 1 in the heart of Wageningen. Since 1989, we have been providing high-quality childcare for children aged 0 to 10 years, with our daycare center situated on the ground floor. Our location offers a warm and spacious environment with abundant natural light and direct access to an inviting garden, where children find a familiar and safe space to develop. For our youngest ones, we offer a baby group (0-2 years) and a toddler group (2-4 years), alongside a vertical group where children aged 0 to 4 play and learn together. Babies receive all the peace and space they need to discover the world around them, while toddlers can explore our various play areas including construction corners, home corners, and reading nooks. Our dedicated team of familiar pedagogical staff provides each child with personal attention. Our pedagogical approach encourages children to discover themselves, others, and the world around them through an inquisitive and curious mindset. We offer the Pre- and Early School Education program (VVE) 'Startblokken' in our toddler group. This program focuses on developing essential skills such as language, mathematics, and social abilities through additional guidance and a specially designed curriculum. At de Belhamel, we believe outdoor play is essential. We have a spacious garden where children can ride bikes, make sand cakes in the playhouse, and search for small creatures. We also offer parents the option to let their babies sleep outdoors in special outdoor cribs. Sleeping outdoors helps children sleep longer and better due to the calming natural sounds. We go outside in all weather conditions because there's always something to discover! In our large communal hall, children from different groups come together. Here we regularly organize fun activities such as theater performances, shared meals, or celebrations. This stimulates social development and creates a close-knit community where every child feels welcome.
