Welcome to Kindercentrum Avonturen Tuin Appelscha, our small-scale anthroposophical daycare located on the wooded grounds of OlmenEs in Appelscha. We provide care for up to 14 children aged 0 to 4 years in a homely, vertical group where babies, toddlers and preschoolers play and learn together. We focus on the individual approach of each child. Our permanent, experienced caregivers create a familiar environment where your child feels seen and known. No changing faces, but one trusted caregiver who welcomes your child every day. Because of this small scale, children get to know each other well and a warm, homely atmosphere is created that is never so busy that a child feels the need to shout to be heard. Our pedagogical vision is inspired by anthroposophical developmental psychology. We work with natural materials and open-ended toys that stimulate imagination. No buttons for sirens, but children who create the siren themselves. Our fabric dolls invite nurturing play and imagination. In this way, children not only learn through play, but also develop their creativity and social skills. The group has its own living room and separate bedrooms, so each child has their own place.
