Kindcentrum Vinckhuysen (KDV)

KDV Vinckhuysen is a brand-new, small-scale daycare centre right in the heart of West-Graftdijk. We are located inside OBS Vinckhuysenschool at Kanaaldijk 3, giving our 0-4-year-olds a dedicated, secure space that is entirely tailored to their developmental stage. Children and parents enter through a separate entrance into a bright room with large windows and plenty of natural light – an environment that radiates calm and safety. Inside we operate one vertical group for a maximum of 16 children. Two separate sleeping rooms – one on the group itself and one in the adjacent area – allow every child to keep their own sleep rhythm. The layout offers different play and relaxation corners where babies, toddlers and preschoolers all feel at home. Our brand-new outdoor area is directly connected to the daycare and completely separated from the school playground. The baby garden is safely and cosily arranged so even the youngest can enjoy the outdoors. Older children explore our own vegetable garden and learn in a playful way where fruit and vegetables come from. From time to time we venture out to the neighbouring football fields or make fun excursions in the local area. KDV Vinckhuysen is part of Kindcentrum Vinckhuysen, ensuring a seamless link between childcare and education. We are open Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:30 and offer flexible childcare from a minimum of one day per week. Together with parents we create a familiar foundation in which children can develop to their full potential.
