KDV Kindcentrum 't Zonnestraaltje

Kindercentrum ’t Zonnestraaltje is a small-scale daycare centre located in Tilburg North at De Schans 95. We provide care for up to 37 children aged 0 to 4 years, divided across three vertical core groups. Our Tulpengroep accommodates 14 children aged 2 to 4, the Madeliefjesgroep welcomes up to 16 children aged 0 to 2, and the Rozengroep is designed for 7 children aged 0 to 4. We believe in the power of vertical groups where children of different ages play and learn together. This setup strengthens children's resilience and stimulates natural development: toddlers learn from older children and the youngest develop faster through observing role models. Siblings can also be cared for together in one group, reinforcing the familiar home situation. Our daycare centre features three spacious group rooms, a shared sleeping area and an outdoor space also used by the after-school care. The outdoor area is directly adjacent to the building and offers plenty of room for exploration and play. For the youngest children, a separate sleeping room is available so they can rest peacefully while other children play. At ’t Zonnestraaltje, we believe it's important that children can be themselves in a safe and familiar environment. We work with dedicated childcare professionals who are involved in each child's development. Our pedagogical policy focuses on providing social-emotional security, developing personal and social competencies, and transferring norms and values. We closely monitor each child's development and tailor our activities to their individual needs. We offer flexible childcare options, including half-days, and charge an hourly rate of €10.76 for daycare. Parents can apply for childcare allowance through the National Childcare Register.
