Welcome to Kindcentrum Regenboog, located at Warmoezenierstraat 36 in Schiedam. In our child centre, education and childcare work closely together under one roof. For the very youngest we provide a safe, familiar environment where development is key. Our daycare centre focuses on children aged 0 to 4 and follows a clear horizontal group structure, ensuring every age receives the right care and stimuli. For toddlers from 2.5 to 4 years we offer Short Daycare with Early Childhood Education (VVE). We use the Startblokken methodology: a development-oriented, child-centred approach in which themes connect to the child’s world. Playing, discovering and language development are central. The spacious, green outdoor area invites movement and nature experiences; indoors everything is designed for safety and challenge for little explorers. Our team consists of experienced pedagogical staff who understand the importance of a warm, stable base. We tailor activities to each child’s needs and work closely with parents. This creates a seamless line from childcare to primary school, without thresholds and with lots of trust.
