KDV kindcentrum Park16Hoven is located at Woensdrechtstraat 13 in the new Park16Hoven district in northern Rotterdam. We provide childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years in a homely, safe and caring environment. Our day-care centre consists of three small-scale groups: two baby-toddler groups (0-4 years) called 'de Bijtjes' and 'de Vlindertjes', and a toddler group (2-4 years) called 'de Libellen'. This small-scale approach creates calm and familiarity for the children. We use the Uk & Puk method, a recognised early-education programme that focuses on four key developmental areas: language and speech, social skills, motor skills and early numeracy. Every six weeks we start a new theme that connects with the children's world of experience. Our experienced and stable team of pedagogical staff have completed special baby training. A baby specialist is always present in the baby group. Each child also has their own mentor who closely follows development and organises an extensive parent meeting annually. Our spacious group rooms are bright and freshly furnished with various development corners such as a craft corner and a doll corner. Children can play safely in our own enclosed outdoor playground, which features natural play equipment and plenty of space to run and explore. We devote a lot of attention to outdoor play and teach children about the nature around them in a playful way.
