Kindcentrum ONS Stekkie

Welcome to Kindcentrum ONS Stekkie, our small-scale and colourful childcare centre located at Kerklaan 9 in the heart of Streefkerk. We provide a warm place where children aged 0 to 4 can be completely themselves. Thanks to our vertical groups, babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers grow up together in one familiar group, giving every child the space to develop at their own pace. Everything we do revolves around safety, space and growth. We work with fixed pedagogical staff who truly know each child, and we closely follow their development. Through play, children discover the world: we read aloud, sing together, do arts and crafts with various materials and regularly go on trips into the village or nature. Our large, walled garden is a true play and learning area where children can run, cycle, build sandcastles and experience the seasons. We offer flexible childcare days and hours, so parents can decide what suits their family best. For the very youngest we provide bottle feeding and rest periods in separate sleeping areas. Older toddlers practise fine motor skills with craft activities and learn to take each other into account through playing together. Pre-school education (VVE) is standard with us: we stimulate language, thinking and social skills in a playful way, ready for the step to primary school. In short, at Kindcentrum ONS Stekkie children find a second home where they enter with pleasure, confidence and a big smile, and go home happy.
