Welcome to the daycare center of Speelleerplein De Vlieger, located at Hertstraat 4 in Volkel. As part of Kiem Education and Childcare, we provide care for children aged 0 to 2 years at this location. Everything we do revolves around peace, space and attention for your child. We take all the time for babies in our daycare center. During care and during play. In a spacious, safe playpen on the floor, babies can move freely and play by themselves. Your baby goes on a discovery tour and learns new things such as rolling, crawling and creeping. With attention and materials such as the mirror and the climbing plateau, we stimulate and guide your baby to try new things. For the little ones we take care of everything: diapers, wipes, bottle feeding and care products. We work with horizontal group structure, where babies and toddlers are cared for in separate age groups. This provides peace and predictability, exactly what young children need. Our pedagogical staff are ready with a listening ear and guide the children in their development. We work with themes that connect to the children's world of experience. Think of themes like 'spring' and 'clothing'. We read aloud, sing songs and go on discovery in our own garden where we have chickens among other things. At Speelleerplein De Vlieger we work with the VVE program 'Piramide digital'. This means that we playfully pay extra attention to the (language) development of the children. We use the Klasbord app to keep parents informed about their child's daily experiences. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 18:00. On Wednesday and Friday there is also the possibility to take care from 8:00 to 13:00. Extra hours are possible from 7:00 to 8:00 and from 18:00 to 18:30. We offer flexible childcare options so it fits your situation.
